I followed the five-step design process to create a user-friendly experience. I started by empathizing with users, conducting interviews and research to deeply understand their needs and pain points. Next, I defined the core problems and user goals, narrowing down the focus for the design solution. In the ideation phase, I brainstormed and sketched out multiple ideas, exploring creative ways to address user needs. I then developed prototypes to bring these ideas to life, creating interactive models for user feedback. Finally, I conducted tests with real users, gathering insights to refine and improve the design. This iterative process allowed me to create a solution that truly resonated with the target audience.
The company conducted over 35 interviews with users and collected real informationfrom them in order to improve the application. Various types of researches were carried out, including focus studies on target groups. Appriopriate questions were prepared in worksheets, where the respondents gave us answers.
We created 2 personas who are a fictional representation of our target users, created based on research and data to represent the needs, behaviors, goals, and pain points of a specific group. Those personas help us designers and marketers understand their audience better, allowing them to create products, services, and experiences that effectively meet the needs of real users. By focusing on these detailed profiles, teams can ensure that their solutions are user-centered and relevant to the people they aim to serve.
An empathy map is a collaborative team’s tool that can be used to gain a deeper insights into our/their customers. We interviewed 25-30 people including seniors and young people to understand better user’s challenges.
After brainstorm and many hours regarding the first screens, we managed to create the first outlines of application for mobile devices. Due to the enormity of ideas and as it happens with the first projcets, everything was drawn on sheets of paper.
